Dr. Kevin Kruse Named One Of D Magazine’s Best Doctors In Collin County For 2026

PLANO, TEXAS: Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kevin Kruse has been named one of D Magazine’s Best Doctors in Collin County for 2026.

The annual recognition honors physicians selected through a peer nomination and review process that evaluates clinical excellence, professional reputation, and eligibility requirements. Thanks to his office in Plano, the largest city in Collin County, Dr. Kruse was eligible for this honor. 

Unlike awards based on public voting, D Magazine’s Best Doctors in Collin County program relies on nominations from licensed physicians before finalists are reviewed by an independent panel and vetted by the publication’s editorial team. The process includes verification of medical licensure, board certification, and disciplinary status.

Dr. Kevin Kruse is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder, elbow, and upper extremity care. He sees patients at his offices in Plano and Dallas, offering comprehensive treatment ranging from conservative care to advanced minimally invasive surgical procedures.

With his team, Dr. Kruse offers treatments for a variety of conditions, including rotator cuff tears, shoulder arthritis, shoulder instability, elbow and shoulder fractures, SLAP tears, frozen shoulder, and labrum tears. Treatments they offer include the No Sling Shoulder Surgery, arthroscopic surgery, and shoulder revision surgery. Dr. Kruse is currently accepting new patients.
