A common question people ask is, how long does it take for shoulder instability to heal?
It depends. Children’s stability is complex. It depends on your activity level and what you’re doing in life. An 18-year-old football player is much different
than a 60-year-old a homemaker or someone who’s not super active.
It also depends on what type of instability you have. That’s number one. Number two, how severe is it? Number three, and very important, is your life activity level.
A rugby or high school football player is at a much higher risk of instability, which continues to be a problem, than someone who is not quite that active and does not play contact sports.
It’s a loaded question. So much depends on your pattern of instability, who you are, and what you’re doing in life.
